Saturday,  February 1, 2003, K.A.A.R.C., (Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorer Club) opened its first swap meet for the year and which draws thousands of visitors. Even though every single space was used, K.A.A.R.C. was kind enough to donate a booth for the Futurliner display. Mike Ball and Stan Bowers did an excellent job of setting up the display with project info, posters and hats and even a continually running video of the Futurliners. The booth was manned on hourly schedules by the volunteers. Don Mayton was leadoff pitch-man.

    The Futurliner booth picked up $240 worth of donations for pictures and caps and Wally Snow got a couple hundred dollars worth of parts donated from vendors. 

    A BIG Thank You to those at the K.A.A.R.C. swap meet for their generosity and support. It began with KAARC donating a display area. We received much needed parts from Bob Steinmetz, Antique Auto Parts,(708) 596-6302, (electrical), from Rog Jeurink, R&R Wire Loom & Cable Ties, Hudsonville, MI, (wire loom), Don Marx, Plymouth MI, (electrical), B&L Liquidators, Youngstown OH, (gauges). We also want to thank the patrons who purchased posters, caps, and buttons. This helps greatly in our restoration project. Futurliner Restoration is a tax deductible organization for anyone who may be considering any kind of assistance to the project. Thanks again!
