The men contemplate how to correct the sag in the 16' door.

We have a major sag problem with the 16 foot gull wing doors. Ed, Ron, Howard and Don F. tried several different things to reduce the sag. Without going through all the items that they tried, only one was successful, a 1/4" X 4" plate welded perpendicular to the bottom door channel. Just by doing this, the sag was reduced from about 3" to about 3/4". Next week they plan to add two additional 1/4" plates about at the 1/3 and 2/3s locations on this door.

Some of the bracing that has already been used.

This is a shot of the bottom half of the door as it drops out to increase the size of the stage.

For now this is "Wally's World" -- Wally Snow that is. He is rewiring the driver's cockpit.

Miles of wiring, one way or another, make their way to this point.
