These photos were taken by Don Mayton on a trip to California in March of 2000. Mike Kadletz was away on business and Don met briefly with his shop manager Harold Brown. Like many other Futurliners Mike's has extensive rust.

Mike is a collector and restorer of buses and fire trucks. If would appear, from the photos, that the Futurliner restoration was started and stopped. In many of the photos that were reviewed, a heavy deposit of dust has collected. Much work and expense remains in order to bring this one back to life. Don reports that Mike is very good about sharing or providing information that might be helpful.

The engine still remains within the vehicle. It is unclear as to the state of its condition but in this photo the tappet cover is off and a thick coating of dust covers everything.
