The Futurliner appeared at the Sloan Museum Summer Auto Fair in Flint. Crowds were hungry for a peek at GM history. The inset in the above photo is of the Feature Car Award which was presented to Wayne Jackson for the Futurliner.

This is Lois Savage, daughter of Robert E. Bingman, designer of the Futurliner. This was the first time she saw a Futurliner and commented that she close to her dad when she sat in the cab. It was quite a moment for her and her son Bill Savage.

Al Batts presents an autographed copy of our Futurliner book to Tim Shickles, Executive Director of the Sloan Museum. The book will be placed in their archives.

The Sloan Museum provides an outstanding setting in its park-like atmosphere for viewing the Futurliner and other vehicles on display.

The Sloan Summer Automotive Fair is a fun-filled two-day show with plenty of music, entertainment, vendors and of course, automobiles! The Flint Cultural Center campus becomes home to more than 600 of the best looking cars, trucks and motorcycles around.
