One of the Paraders (left) discusses how underpowered the Futurliners were with the small 6 cylinder engine to power them. Most of the times maximum speeds were about 45 miles per hour. You didn't want to be going fast because they were difficult to stop.

This is the 220 volt AC generator that will be installed back into the Futurliner. The generator was intended to power much of the lighting for the Parade of Progress show. It was Raffee Johns who told us that that the generator was never used because they had the diesel generator truck that supplied all their power -- and we just had it rebuilt!

Restored transmission is ready to be installed

The mirrors have been buffed out to a high luster and are ready for installation.

Obtaining tires with the "Parade of Progress" embossed in them still remains a problem. They are not cheap but for the project to look original, we need to have them.

The power distribution box has been completed. It will route power from the big generator to the lights and other accessories used for the show.
