Del Carpenter is working on the lightbar assembly  which projects up above the roof of the Futurliner and   illuminates the showfield area.

Bruce Biemers is steadying the 200KW electrical generator as the forklift extracts it from the rear area of the Futurliner. The generator is powered by the main engine off from the drive shaft.

Dick Modzeleski, retired electrician from the General Motors Fisher Body plant in Grand Rapids,  tries to sort out and document the wiring before disassembly.

This area is where the generator/alternator was mounted. It houses many of the electrical controls as well as a whole wall of ballast for the many florescence light fixtures throughout the Futurliner..
