Wally Snow checks out some of the electrical
wiring before installing in the Futurliner.
Wally Snow holds the aluminum grill trim that
Marge Carpenter polished. The assemblies had to be disassembled,
sanded and then Marge spent hours buffing each individual piece.
They look like jewelry.
We received an original lighting fin with plastic
lens that read "PARADE OF PROGRESS" from a parts shipment
from a California Futurliner. With this original plastic lens and
with new material supplied by John Wiltjer, Bud Dinger (pictured)
spent a week at his son's company finding a way to print onto the
new plastic, "PARADE OF PROGRESS", using a font almost
identical to the original.
Not sure what Dick, Art and Marty are up to -- maybe
they just wanted their picture framed?
