This photo shows the front of the Futurliner. The large gaping hole is the entry door for the driver. The photo clearly shows some of the metal patchwork that has taken place.

This is the other front view of the Futurliner. The red door provides access to the engine compartment. The engine has yet to be installed. While everything is ready for it, it is felt that the engine would be in the way while some of the other components are welded in place.

Framework for the lower 16' doors were put in place. The angle gears that operate the doors were hooked up as well. He then hooked up the wiring on the side motors and tried out the motors running the jack shafts, right and left, and the worm drives. Next he timed the worm drives to make sure they were synchronized.

Arms to the lower doors were installed and again tried out.  Everything worked without problems. To finish the door it will need to be "skinned."
