The only remaining Futurliner exhibit was moved by GM from the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry to COBO Hall for the Detroit Auto Show that took place in early January of 2001. It is a great working exhibit, according to a GM employee.

This close up shows automobiles traveling down the highway.

Notice in this picture how the scene begins to change by flipping over portions of the scene. What looks like an "A" frame house is actually a section of the display changing.

This close up shows a section of the display changing. There are three different displays on each section. They were built like equal sided triangles.

This picture shows another section flipping over. By varying the sections the display could actually show what progress would look like over a number of years.
