Burn Survivor Show -- Star Truck Rentals donated use of a tractor
and driver Fred Hoffman donated his time to get Futurliner #10 to
Fifth Third Ball Park for the Burn Survivor Benefit Show.

First the Futurliner is driven onto the trailer and then the tractor
hitches up to the trailer. A different approach to hauling it but
there were a number of constraints that had to be met in regards to
height and length.

A record 565 show cars were registered and over 40 fire trucks and
departments were present.

We received great cooperation and assistance and we thank all
involved.

The kids were fascinated by the Futurliner and were eager to learn
about this unusual vehicle.

The Burn Survivor Benefit Show is put on by West Michigan Fire
Fighters and Car Clubs. These organizations have joined together
over the past 8 years to bring car enthusiasts out to enjoy the car
show and auction while helping to benefit burn survivors. One of our
Futurliner volunteers came dressed as Otis the Clown and entertained
many of the boys and girls.
