    June 10, 1954 -- William Noakes, GM Parade of Progress Lecturer, is shown above, at the left, explaining part of "The World of Science" demonstration which points out the problems atmospheric pressure creates for scientists and engineers engaged in building jet planes, rockets, and space ships, and in safely equipping the human body for high altitude and space travel.
