During the course of this restoration we were donated a 1957 Buick.
We have made the decision to clean up this vehicle as is and sell it
to provide funds for the Futurliner project. This is an original car
and does need some TLC. However it runs good and it is unusual in
one aspect. It came from the factory with a stick shift. Almost all
Buicks in the "50's" were equipped with their Dynaflow.
Stay tuned for further developments.

Original Parader tool box donated by Vic Garske.
The driver's seat frame was restored at the beginning of our
restoration process by Dean Tryon in North Carolina. It was
originally installed without any upholstery because we needed it in
place. Over the years the frame has become scratched. Today it was
removed and Connie and Art sanded out all the scratches and
repainted it. Again it looks great.
Driver compartment with seat removed.
Dash is opened while Wally and Paul install new speedometer. (They
have to lie underneath in the back to attach sensor to drive train.)

Shows platform where driver seat is mounted. This area will be
covered with linoleum.
Engine and Trans had to be removed from the trailer.
Shows where the ring seal is installed. The metal ring was being
damaged by the drive assembly attached here.
